November 2023 sees a new trip to discover the textiles of NW Gujurat. I’m leading a tour into Kutch, where traditional techniques of creating and decorating fabric create an equivalent of a textile biodiversity hotspot. We are working with local artisans to see traditional weaving, tie-dying and embroidery, visiting studios, and meeting the artisans who create some of India’s finest traditional textiles.
